Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I truly love our city and our communities. Throughout my professional career, following my interests into roles that allow me to make a meaningful impact in our community has been hugely important to me.

Early on, I found fulfillment working in the animal industry. While this was initially motivated by my love for animals, I quickly learned how important it is to cultivate the strongest relationships with the humans part of the equation. One of my favorite sayings is that “human welfare is animal welfare.” It is through supporting the success of the people in our community that we build the people and animals around them.

In my personal time, I love spending time in the outdoors with my wonderful dogs. I have also dabbled in dog sports over the years, competing in disc, dock diving, lure coursing, and agility training. I am also the very proud aunt to two wonderful nephews.
